The US Soccer Development Academy teams, including many elite MLS affiliates along with the ODP system is where scouting for talented players for college and university teams takes place have been invited to Mexico’s 7 venues that have been approved by FIFA’s Executive Commitee to host the U17 WORLD CUP in 2011. The idea is that these young players enjoy the benefits of playing vs. qualified competition and get to know the stadiums where play will take place.
Fiesta Sports, Mexico’s Premier Destination Sports Management Company gearing up for the U17 World Cup has secured preferential rates for accomodations with Mexico’s largest hotel chain, Fiesta Americana tha has hotels in all 7 cities. The US SOCCER DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY Teams will also have access for training facilities and friendly matches at the Cabo San Lucas facility with accomodations at the beachfront Fiesta Americana Grand Los Cabos. Due to the young age of many of these players, preferential rates have been extended to their families as well.
